Like the name says, this is a quick cowl! Works up in just a few hours. Learn a new cast on (thanks for the tutorial Knitting Daily) and play with cables. If you have more yarn, add some cable repeats and make a longer cowl or scarf.

Gauge is not very important for this pattern, change the needle size to get a nice fabric with your yarn.

You will need: yarn, size US 11 needles (or best size for the yarn you select), crochet hook (for cast on), cable needle, yarn needle for weaving in ends and two large buttons.

I have used South American Cotton Hand Painted, plymouth Alpaca grande and Cascade 128 Wool for this pattern
