Gauge: Unimportant, but it’s 6 stitches = 1 inch. Headband shown in the example photos came out 1.75 inches (4cm) wide.

A note: I personally have difficulty keeping my edges neat and always slip the first stitch of my work. The slipped stitch is reflected in my example photos but not the pattern itself.
