Quick-knit Cable Brim Honeycomb Hat
This is my first pattern. I was looking for a beanie pattern that wasn’t started with ribbing but couldn’t find anything I liked so I started my own. My test knitters found it possible to knit the pattern in an evening. I’m happy to ask any questions about the pattern. The ‘hiviz’ orange pattern also has a strand of reflective thread running through it making it good for dark nights. I hope you like it.
The orange pattern is medium and measures 20-22” around the brim. The grey pattern is large and measures 22-24” round the brim. Because of the honeycomb cabling the pattern does have a good amount of give in it.
I have links with the volunteer group of Blood Bikers who provide a volunteer service delivering blood, samples and donor breast milk, free of charge to the NHS. They are a superb bunch of volunteers who save many lives each day. I intend to donate 25% of the revenue from this pattern to the group.
