This dishcloth is very adjustable! Additional details are in the written pattern. Additional materials, besides yarn and hook, you are going to need:

• scissors and yarn needle for fasten off and weaving in ends
• measuring tape (opt.) (used for measuring chain and dishcloth’s rows to get desired size of dishcloth)

Gauge is not necessary; I just noted the gauge I had with my 9.5” by 9.5” dishcloth.
The “loopy” border on the dishcloth is just a result of my chain 3’s…
