From the book: A cozy “afghan” poncho is easy to make in double crochet. Two “granny” squares are made for front and back; the V neck is created by adding more rows on two sides of one square.

The suggested size: 30 inches long at center back and front plus fringe.

Gauge: 16 sts (4 groups of 3 dc, ch 1)=6”; 6 rows = 5”

Materials: Bulky yarn, 1-100 gram skein of natural (A), light oxford (B), dark oxford ( C), brown heather (D), heather white (E), and charcoal brown (F). Fingering yarn or other fine yarn 4 ozs. brown or gray heather for fringe. Aluminum crochet hook size J.
