With super bulky yarn, this hat is quick to knit up! Using a long-tail cast on for the beginning of the hat, it is stretchy, too. The hat is about 20” in circumference when unstretched.

This pattern is easy to adjust in size, by adding or subtracting in increments of 5 sts, just adjust the number of knit stitches in brackets. For example, to make the hat smaller by 2”, CO 45 sts instead of 50, then k8 instead of k9. If adjusting by odd numbers, for the final decrease row just k2tog instead of the double decrease.
