The hat is crocheted from the crown down, in the round, and comes in size Medium, but its size is easily adjustable to your own preference as you can try it on as you go, and the yarn is very stretchy so it will easily fit bigger heads!
The simple swirling textured stitch and thick yarn both make for a very quick and easy project to rustle up, using only one skein of Aran wool.

Materials:
1 x 100g skein of Woolgather Aran weight yarn by Unwind Yarns (100% Superwash Extra Fine Merino wool, approx. 166m / 181yds)
6mm crochet hook
1 lockable stitch marker

Finished Size:
The finished hat is approximately 20” circumference and 8“ deep.
Please note that the depth / length of the hat is easily adjustable, as you can try the hat on as you go and decide how long you prefer it to be. The stitch and wool used are also very stretchy, and it is best worn a little snug on the head so that the stitch pattern stands out.
