The name for this design was inevitable. As I knitted these socks, all I could think about was how beautiful the silver colour is and how fast they were to knit. Thus, the name Quicksilver was born.

Quicksilver is a top-down sock with a heel flap and gusset. The cables on the socks are mirrored to create a symmetrical pattern- a trait that is found in most of my designs.

The slipped stitch pattern on the heel flap is slightly different for each size to enable the design elements to flow all the way through the design.
