Sunrise at the edge of the harbour, with foamy waves lulling us into meditation, is an inspiration of light, sound, and colour. Rippling water dazzles with prysmatic hues and the horizon is illuminating with long striations of sea-touched clouds. Every minute seems to reveal a new sense of wonder and we are called to push off from the docks into the world of adventure and discovery.

Knitters will be using these techniques: knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog, ssk, ssp, working flat, slipped stitch, Japanese short rows (with video tutorials available), changing colours, measuring gauge, and following a pattern with changing stitch counts. There will be a
unique increase used (called incto6) with clear instructions and a video tutorial, as well.

1 skein SweetGeorgia Yarns CashLuxe Spark in Mulberry (MC) (420 yds / 384 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Cashmere, 10% Sparkling Stellina).
2 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock, 1 each in Lady Grey (CC1) and Bubble Wand (CC2) (425 yds / 384 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon).
These are the approx amounts of yarn used in the sample:
MC - 102g, CC1 - 67g, CC2 - 104g

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
37 ring stitch markers, 2 locking stitch markers, tapestry needle

GAUGE
24 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Sparkles Patt or Stockinette St, after blocking and drying (see p5 for Swatching Details).
Please note that changes in gauge will affect yardage used and final measurements.
