Quiet Morning Set
Rich and soft, textural and colourful, the Quiet Morning hat and mitten set is like a walk in the forest, early in the morning when the world is still asleep. Worked in our Superwash Worsted, the cable and colours come out quick as a wink, promising cozy warmth in time for autumn.

Intended to fit tightly.
YARN
2 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Superwash Worsted, 1 each in Pine Tree (MC) and Cayenne (CC) (200 yd / 183 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% Superwash Merino).
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
Size 7 US / 4.5 mm set of five double-pointed needles or circular needles, if preferred
Size 8 US / 5 mm set of five double-pointed needles or circular needles, if preferred
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Stitch markers, cable needle, yarn needle
GAUGE
24 sts and 24 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Rib Stitch, with smaller needles, after blocking.
22 sts and 32 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Wild Oats Stitch, with larger needles, after blocking.
19 sts and 30 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, with larger needles, after blocking.
PATTERN NOTES
The hat is worked from the bottom up in the round. The mittens are worked from the cuff up in the round.
