The Quiet Morning Shawl pattern is written in English (US terms) and includes step-by-step instructions to guide you through every complex stitch.

This exquisite crochet shawl pattern is suitable for those with a slightly higher skill level than beginners and want to expand their skills by learning new stitches. The pattern alternates between easy-to-follow, rhythmic stripes of eyelet fillet crochet and airy lace, ensuring you’ll be proud of your progress!

This light triangular shawl features a sickle-shaped top edge that wraps beautifully around the shoulders, with a scalloped edge on the sides. I used almost 9 balls (50 g / 1.76 oz each) of the luxurious Millburn DK yarn from Eden Cottage Yarns in the stunning Catmint color. It works up quickly with a 3.5 mm (E-4) hook.

Skills required: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, double treble crochet, clusters.

You will start by working from the middle of the upper edge of the shawl (the side that touches the neck). From there, the shawl expands downward and outward, crocheted in rows that alternate between right (odd rows) and wrong (even rows) sides.
