Quiet Waters
Quiet Waters is an A-line tank knit seamlessly from the bottom up beginning with a crochet provisional cast on. Decreases are worked on each side of a designated “seam” stitch to create the A-line shaping. The tank is then separated at the armholes and front and back are knit flat. The neckline and armholes are finished with an I-cord bind off. A perpendicular lace edge is then added to the bottom of the tank. Instructions are written with charts shown for the body pattern repeat and perpendicular edge.
Techniques Used In This Pattern
Crochet Provisional cast on, basic lace patterning, picking up stitches, Mattress Stitch, I-cord bind off, Perpendicular Edge.
Selecting A Size
Quiet Waters is intended to be worn fitted in the chest with the A-line shaping allowing for a gentle drape and looser fit when it hits the top of the hips. Select a size to fit your full chest measurement with zero ease. The sample shown is a Size 2.
