Quilter's Chicken Dishcloth
This pattern is the second in a series of “Quilter’s” patterns. All these patterns will have the same number of stitches and rows so that they could be sewn into a blanket, if so desired. (I am not known for designing patterns of consistent dimensions.)
The finished dimensions of this pattern are 9 1/4”W x 9”H and it weighs in at 43 gr. Only a basic understanding of knitting is required to knit this dishcloth: Cast on, cast off, knit and purl stitches.
For best results knitting ‘picture’ dishcloths, use a size or two smaller needle than you usually would for the given yarn, choose a solid colour yarn and block your finished dishcloth.
Many thanks to Tunie for test knitting this pattern for me, and to Sue for the inspiration to create it. She REALLY wanted a chicken!
