Quilter's Chicken Too Dishcloth
This pattern is the tenth in a series of “Quilter’s” patterns. All these patterns have the same number of stitches and rows so that they could be sewn into a blanket, if so desired. (I am not known for designing patterns of consistent dimensions.)
You will need one 50 gr ball of 100% cotton worsted weight yarn. The finished dimensions of this cloth are 9 1/4”W x 9”H and it weighs in at 43 gr. Only a basic understanding of knitting is required to knit this dishcloth: Cast on, cast off, knit and purl stitches.
For best results knitting ‘picture’ dishcloths, use a size or two smaller needle than you usually would for the given yarn, choose a solid colour yarn and block your finished dishcloth.
Tunie has been crazy busy with the airplane her husband is working on and renovations to her garden pathway and new raised gardens, yet she still took time to test knit this pattern for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Tunie!
