Quilter's Goat Dishcloth
This pattern is the fifth in a series of “Quilter’s” patterns. All these patterns have the same number of stitches and rows so that they could be sewn into a blanket, if so desired. (I am not known for designing patterns of consistent dimensions.)
You will need one 50 gr ball of 100% cotton worsted weight yarn. The finished dimensions of this cloth are 9 1/4”W x 9”H and it weighs in at 43 gr. Only a basic understanding of knitting is required to knit this dishcloth: Cast on, cast off, knit and purl stitches.
For best results knitting ‘picture’ dishcloths, use a size or two smaller needle than you usually would for the given yarn, choose a solid colour yarn and block your finished dishcloth.
Many thanks to Tunie for test knitting this pattern for me and to her husband for suggesting a pattern for a goat. Despite how busy she is and not having a working printer, Tunie took the time to test knit for me. She absolutely is invaluable!
