I’ll admit it: I’m picky when it comes to knitting blankets. They need to be simple enough to work mindlessly but without boredom, and they need to look nice from both sides. For me, the Quinn Blanket has it all—a few color changes and rows of openwork stitches quickly create a lovely pile of colors in a fun ripple pattern.

This patterns eats up a lot of yarn because its basically garter stitch, if in doubt get extra yarn! If your gauge is slightly larger stitches then called for, it will eat up more yarn faster!
