A soft hat for little heads with a diamond pattern inspired by snowbanks and mountains!

Construction Notes
Hat is designed to be worn slouchy, this also leaves room to grow for children who grow so quickly! Less slouch is built into the newborn and 3 month sizes so it should not fall into their eyes. The hat depth is measured from the brim to the start of the slouchy decreases. If you want a shorter hat take length out below that point.

US5 (3.75 mm) dpns or circular
OR size needed to obtain gauge
tapestry needle for weaving in ends
4 stitch markers if using circular needles
