Quintero Shawl
The Quintero shawl comes from my desire to have a wearable sized piece, while only using two skeins of yarn. It’s named after a beautiful golf course in Arizona, where I was vacationed while finishing this sample.
This shawl is perfect for using one of those speckled skeins that you couldn’t resist buying, coupled with a fabulous tonal for a winning combo! It is worked tip to edge, increasing on right side rows, to form a slightly asymmetrical triangle.
Yarn: The Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering
440 yards/ m per 115 g; Sample shown uses the color Homebody (1 Skein) and Strawberry Wine (1 Skein)
OR
Fingering weight yarn in the following amounts:
MC 440 yds/ 402 m & CC 440 yds/ 402 m
(This shawl left less than 20 grams remaining of each color. For this reason it is important to make sure that your gauge is correct.)
Note: Be sure to choose a yarn that blooms so the texture really stands out.
