Here is my very first pattern: Quinton the Questing Beast!
What is a Questing Beast, you ask? According to Arthurian legend, they are creatures that have the head and neck of a serpent, body of a leopard, and legs of a gazelle or deer, finishing with the tail of a lion.
Quinton here is a simple toy. He is made from single crochets, slip stitches, single crochet increases, and invisible decreases. That’s it!
I think he looks best with worsted weight yarn and a size K hook, but I think if you adjust your hook and yarn, he would look great any way.
