Hat is fitted. Double-knit model has 2 sizes only - 12-18 months and 18-24 months.

In double knit this hat is VERY warm.

NOTA BENE! If you would like to knit only the upper hat, be aware that it will not fit the same age as the double one for the upper layer is bigger than the inside hat.

First shaping the head with the help of short rows, then you knit the buttoned cowl, and in the end you pick up the stitches from the cast on edge and knit the inner part (till the cowl)
