Ærø Sweater Junior is a classic Nordic sweater with a minimalist design for children aged 4-12 years.
The organic, Nordic pattern on the yoke is inspired by the beautiful beach Vester Strand on the island of Ærø in Denmark.
The pattern is a graphic rendering of the many rounded stones that can be found at the edge of the water.
This Sweater is a part of the ÆRØ series with multiple designs for men and women.

About the pattern
The sweater is worked bottom up. First, the body and the sleeves are worked and joined on a circular needle. Next, the yoke is worked according to the chart. Short rows are worked in the back of the neck, and the neckline is finished with ribbing. The techniques Italian cast on and Italian bind off are used in the pattern. You can choose other techniques if you wish.
