Rabbit «Christmas Tree»
★ SKILL LEVEL: ADVANCED
★ SKILLS REQUIRED: You must have basic crochet and brush skills. Also I added 4 useful video lessons.
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :
- Yarn: You can use any yarn that is comfortable and/or suitable for you. BUT preferably fluffy!
I used: Alize Kid Royal beige color (mohair/polyamide, 50g ~ 500m, in 2! threads gauge is about 38-40sс in 4 inches).
For a scarf, you need yarn as thick as Iris, I use Slonim bobbin in 2 threads (gauge is about 42-45sc in 4 inches), colors – white, light yellow, green. If you will make the scarf removable, then you will need 1 sewn-on transparent snap.
- Hook №1 (1mm)
- Attaching legs - buttons 14mm 4pcs
- Wire frame (for body, arms, ears…): you need 0.5mm thick wire, for ears 2pcs each 21cm long, for arms one piece 29cm long, for the body 2pcs each 24cm long.
- Fiberfill (to stuff)
- Glue eyes (4mm)
- Nose: you can use a ready-made nose, mold it from polymer clay, felt it from wool or embroider it
- Glasses: a piece of wire ~12cm, thick ~0.5mm
- Decor with Christmas balls: you will need 2 pcs of thin chain (15cm and 20cm), 7 pearl-like beads of your favorite colors (take different sizes, for example, 3 large ones 12-14mm and 4 small ones 6-8mm), from metal fittings you will need rosettes for large balls (3pcs), small metal beads for small balls (4pcs), and 7 pins.
- A piece of Velcro to brush the toy, and a felting needle (for example, star felting needle №38) to correct and lay the fur
- Needle, safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
