Rabbit Crochet Beanie
Technique
We will make a single piece where we will work in parallel, in rows, the ribbing and the body of the hat until we reach the desired circumference. The piece will be worked flat so that we can achieve a knitted texture in the body of the hat. To achieve that effect I have made specific variations in the slip stitch and the half double crochet.
In this pattern, the ribbing will be worked in slst(fl) taken through back loop only from 2nd row on. The body of the beanie will be worked inhdc (slst)(blo) half double crochet slip stitch through back loop, executing the same technique of the hdc, but without taking the yarn over hook to finish the stitch. We slide the third loop to close the other two. From the second row on they will be worked in the same way taking the back loop only. At the end of the desired circumference we will join both ends of the piece with slip stitches.
I don’t want to miss any of creation, so don’t forget to use the #rabbitcrochetbeanie when you share your photos or posts on social media.
