Another illusion baby blanket - a friend for our Teddy Bear.

This demonstrates another slight variation in illusion knitting. The background colour at the top is different from the background at the bottom. It is still a very easy piece to knit. Only one yarn is used on each row and there are only two different colours. If you can knit, purl and count, you can do this.

The final two photos show what you see when you look straight at the front and back of the blanket.

This can be made in any yarn.

Amounts of yarn (if using DK):

• Approximately 600 metres (660 yards) light
• Approximately 500 metres (550 yards) dark DK

Using DK it measures about 80 cm x 100 cm (32” x 40”)
