I grew up in in Fredericton, New Brunswick and still call it home today. There are a number of local nicknames for certain parts of town and one of my favourites is Rabbit Town. Thought to be named for the practice of blue collar workers snaring rabbits and even breeding rabbits in the area for food or you can read more about the history at the link provided. In any case, Rabbit Town is proudly displayed on various signs and trails in the area.
The Opulent Alpaca supplied some yarn that I used for some of these samples. You can visit their site here.
