4. This design is written with the beginner in mind however I do recommend you are a confident beginner (STITCHES INCLUDE: HDC, BPHDC, FPHDC, BPDC, FPDC)
5. This design includes step by step patterns and pictures for creating 4 different style hats, a wide ear warmer, and fingerless gloves using the same design pattern in sizes small adult/teen, and large adult/ men sizes
6. Gauge: a. using size “J” hook: 8 hdc sts = 2”; 4 1/2 rows = 2” (following design pattern) b. using size “I” hook: 7 hdc sts = 2”; 5 rows = 2”
7. Chains at beginning of rows do not count in stitch count
8. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds are your stitch counts for each round
9. Stitches in brackets followed by an X and a number means to repeat the stitches within the brackets that number of times
10. Wash finished product in luke-warm or cold water and tumble dry on low heat or lay out flat to dry
