Construction
- The cabled body of the shawl is worked flat from the top down, then stitches are picked up along the top edge and the top border “wings” are worked back and forth with short rows in garter stitch.

Gauge
- 23 stitches & 42 rows per 4”/10 cm in reverse stockinette
- 24 stitches & 48 rows per 4”/10 cm in garter stitch
- One 32-stitch, 56-row repeat of cable pattern measures approximately 4¾”/12 cm wide and 5”/12.5 cm tall
- Note: Gauge measurements taken from relaxed fabric after moderate stretch-blocking.
