MATERIALS:

• 250-550 yds worsted weight yarn
• US 7 and US 9 circular needles with 20” or longer cord (or needle size to make gauge)
• 2 stitch markers
• scrap yarn or stitch holder (optional)
• tapestry needle for weaving ends

Note, this hat is worked up using a combination of knitting in the round and flat knitting. The entire pattern is knitted most easily using magic loop, but can also be worked up using DPN’s and straight needles.

GAUGE:

• 17 stitches per 4-inches, knit flat in stockinette on larger needles

SIZES:

• Toddler (Child, Tween, Adult Woman, Adult Man, Adult XL)
• To fit actual head circumference (in inches): 16 (18, 20, 22, 24, 26)
• Finished hat is sized to stretch for proper fit
