Radiant Hat in Two Versions
by Carol Price
This hat comes in two versions, one with a square crown and the other hexagonal. Twisted stitches create texture and an intriguing pattern as you work top down. I included both yarns used for the models, and you can see that the hexagonal one is a bit more flexible than the square, but that’s the yarn (the acrylic is a bit tighter when making gauge).
Using a smaller needle and finer yarn will make this hat smaller (both are about 20” around the band as knitted with the yarns and needles given in the pattern).
