Whether hung singly or in garlands, decorating packages or tucked inside a gift card, these pretty creations will brighten any day!

We made the Raffia Stars & Snowflakes in crochet-friendly Wool and the Gang’s Ra-Ra Raffia. This biodegradable, vegan yarn is made of 100% long wood fiber—essentially paper. Lightweight and with an excellent structure, Ra-Ra Raffia performs perfectly in these little ornaments! And one spool makes at least 20 stars or snowflakes (a veritable blizzard!)

THE DETAILS
FINISHED SIZE
Stars: Approx. 31⁄2–4”/9–10cm across, after blocking.
Snowflakes: Approx. 5–6”/13–15cm across, after blocking.

YARN
1 spool Wool and the Gang Ra-Ra Raffia (273 yds/250m). 1 spool makes at least 20 stars or snowflakes; or just make a few and use leftovers for pompoms or giftwrapping.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US H/8 (5mm) crochet hook, or size to achieve a result you like after blocking.
Blunt darning needle to finish.
T-pins or straight pins for blocking.
