This pattern is worked bottom up with a cable zigzag pattern in the body. I-cord rope is used to create the webbed strap pattern and large tassels are worked last and attached to the bottom or each zigzag. This top has a positive ease of about 2 inches. Inspiration for this top came from Ragged Falls waterfall near my cottage in Northern Ontario. After lots of rainfall, the zigzag pattern that the water creates among the rocks in very prominent as is the spray and mist at the bottom, represented by the large tassels.
