Ragged Socks
ABOUT PATTERN:
The Ragged Socks are worked cuff down in stockinette stitch, using the magic loop technique. The holes and ladders are placed randomly along the process, to make the finished socks look as ragged as possible!
The pattern explains the methods needed to create your own, unique pair of socks.
The heel is constructed as a heel flap and gusset. Experienced sock knitters are welcome to use other heel types, if preferred.

Tapestry needle to weave in the ends
WORKFLOW:
This pattern is written for fingering weight sock yarn and 2.5 mm US 1.5 long circular needles and the magic loop technique.
You will start by casting on stitches for the cuff.
You will then start adding the details while working your way down the leg, until you reach the desired length.
From there, you will shape the heel by working the heel flap, followed by a heel turn and gusset decreases.
The foot is knit to the desired length and the socks are finished by decreasing towards the toes.
Once there are only a few stitches left, the tip of the sock is grafted shut, using the kitchener stitch method.
Happy knitting!
