I designed this simple, raglan-shaped bed-cape for my mother, who is constantly cold in the winter, and who asked for something like a small blanket that would have closures so it wouldn’t slide off her shoulders.

It’s a nearly mindless knit that works up quickly in a bulky gauge, using a bouclé yarn. By doubling the yarn, you can achieve a beautiful color effect easily and elegantly.
