Raging River Socks
ABOUT THE PATTERN
Raging River Socks are inspired by a turbulent river, flowing with a raging force. The texture pattern requires only knit and purl stitches, which makes this great for a beginner. The sock pattern is written out in words (no charts) with the sock worked from the cuff down to the toe.
BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
Yarn: Approximately 300 yards of fingering weight yarn. Yardage will vary depending on the desired finished size socks.
Needles: US 1 / 2.25 mm circular needle or double-pointed needles,
or size needed for the desired gauge.
Gauge: 16 stitches and 22 rows in 2 inches, Measured in stockinette stitch in the round
Other Materials: Cable needle, Scissors, Stitch markers (2), Yarn needle
