Raices Pullover was inspired by the Rustic Merino from dLana. I called in Raices which means roots in Spanish as an homage to my own personal background. My father was born in Salamanca, Spain. I have fond memories of driving through the countryside with merino sheep all around. Little did I know then that I would grow up to own a yarn shop and surround myself full time around yarn.

dLana Rustica is a rustic merino yarn that is a delight to knit with and so cozy to wear. The merino sheep from Castilla y León where my father was born.

I knew I wanted to choose Dream State from Spincycle as a perfect mix of my own roots. Although I live in canada, I was born and raised in New Orleans. Dream State is 100% Americal wool.

Raices is a top down raglan sweater in construction. The multicolored stripes in Spincycle Dream State make it fun to see it grow and evolve.

This pullover is intended to be worn with 5-7”/12.5cm- 17.5cm positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your high bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number.

MATERIALS
Recommended yarn is an Aran weight yarn. A heavy worsted can be substituted. Yarn quantities may vary slightly.
