My son felt we needed a little more variety in our shop, so he drew a Chinese dragon for me to create. In legend, they were known for their wisdom and the luck they brought with them. Even though they have no wings they were often said to fly among the clouds. That was why my son chose colors that reminded him of a stormy sky. His name Raiden in Japanese means God of thunder and lightning. This is for the digital pattern only. It has many photos to help with construction and assembly. He is created with crochet thread as opposed to yarn. Crochet hooks 2.0mm and 1.80mm are used. He is about 6 inches tall and 12 inches long.
