Rails & Ties Wrap
Rails & Ties is an open and airy wrap worked on oversized needles, and is so named because as I was working it up it reminded me of a railroad track. Plus I really loved the movie Rails & Ties, starring Kevin Bacon and Marcia Gay Harden. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and rent it. Just have a box of tissues handy. It’s a tearjerker!
This pattern can be worked on a variety of yarn weights. Just use a larger needle than what the yarn suggests and you’re good.
Errata: yardage changed. It was suggested that yardage be changed when a knitter needed more yarn than what I had originally given.
