This pattern was inspired by the scenes from Harry Potter films where the students return to Hogwarts by train. There are eyelets at the ribs and a band of stranded colour-work round the yoke. The jumper is knitted in parts to the yoke where it is then knitted in rounds. Experienced knitters could easily knit the whole jumper in the round making it seam free. The jumper is knitted in DK wol I used King Cole Merino Blend for its anti-tickle properties and excellent range of colours. The pattern includes instructions for a hat.
