I saw a sweater that had cables that were surrounded by chains. I loved the look and I started to play around with my yarn and this scarf is what came out of my hook. It is a simple pattern that repeats every four rows so it is easy to follow. Since there is open work, you can play with where you tie the scarf for a long or short look. Also, this scarf looks great with the right side or the back side facing out.
