RAIN CLOUD MITTENS

Simple and sweet rain cloud mittens with little rain clouds. The mittens have extra long cuffs which can be worn folded up or folded down and tucked inside coat sleeves to stop them from falling off.

Includes a free Knitting Techniques Guide which explains all the techniques you need to know and includes access to my online video tutorials so you can learn to knit as you go along.

The mittens are worked flat on straight needles from the bottom up and then seamed together at the end. The rain cloud is added using duplicate stitch (my favourite method for adding designs to knitwear!). This means the mittens are knit in plain grey and the cloud and rain drops are embroidered over the top of the plain stitches at the end. Sizes 0-6M and 6-12M are thumbless and sizes 1-2Y and 2-3Y include thumbs. The mitten top is shaped using mirrored decreases for a professional finish. All of these techniques are explained in the guide and shown in my video tutorials.
