Kits for this shawl are available at Nature’s Luxury - both for the one- and for the two-colored version.

A cheerful tribute to Edinburgh’s drizzle, Rain on Princes Street will keep you fashionably cosy on your promenade.

The elongated semi-circular shawl features a traditional stitch pattern that evokes a steady stream of raindrops – and calls to mind Edinburgh’s lovely architecture.

A lacy edging dripping with dainty picots finishes it off.

The yarn, Farouche by Nature’s Luxury, is a lustrous silk and camel blend that comes in a variety of hues as subdued or as sunny as you please.

Pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.
