These are my rain-bee-ow socks.

They feature a ruffled cuff and a bee motive highlighted either side by simple honey comb stitching.

They are knitted using my own unique dyed wool. Any wool with a main colour and a contrast band in the hand should work although patterns will vary and even using the same wool each sock was different as the colours aligned.

By using a semisolid contrast for the bee motif it allows the bee to bee seen better

They can be adjusted by adding extra stitches but you will have to work out your cast on. You would need to add on stitches (or take them off in batches of 10) so 64 stitches would require a 160 cast on and then for you to add the extra 4 stitches between the motifs.
