’Rainbirds’ got its name by an Instagram follower. In her opinion, the little bows look like a flock of migratory birds, and the big moss stitch reminded her of raindrops. The triangular shawl is worked bottom-up and framed by a cable edge. At the beginning, some attention is required. But as soon as the bow strip is established, the pattern repeats continuously.
To bring out the prominent structures, you will need some thicker yarn. The weight should be at least DK or Aran. (about 200 m / 100 g).

’Rainbirds’ wurde das Tuch von einer Instagram-Followerin getauft. Sie fand, die kleinen Schleifen sähen aus wie Zugvögel und das doppelte Perlmuster erinnerte an Regentropfen. Das Dreieckstuch wird von der unteren Spitze nach oben gestrickt und von einer Zopfborte eingerahmt. Zu Beginn ist etwas Aufmerksamkeit erforderlich. Aber sobald der Mittelstreifen etabliert ist, wiederholt sich das Muster kontinuierlich.
Damit die Strukturen gut zur Geltung kommen, empfiehlt es sich, dickeres Garn der Stärke Aran oder DK zu verwenden (Lauflänge ca. 200 m / 100 g).
