A beginner friendly crochet pattern for a rainbow amigurumi with clouds.

The final rainbow is approximately 4.5 inches wide, 2.5 inches tall, and 1.5 inches deep.

Materials needed:

  • Worsted weight acrylic yarn (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, and off-white). I used 5 yards of Caron Simply Soft in Red, Pumpkin, Sunshine, Limelight, Blue Mint, Iris, and Watermelon, and 22 yards of Caron Simply Soft in Off-white.
  • Embroidery or Crochet thread (black). I used Aunt Lydia’s Size 10 Crochet Thread (1 ft).
  • Size G crochet hook, 4.00mm
  • 2 8mm black safety eyes
  • Yarn or Tapestry needle
  • Embroidery needle
  • Scissors
  • Polyfil stuffing

  • Single crochet
  • Bobble stitch instructions in pattern
  • Increasing
  • Slip stitch
  • Color changing
  • Joining new thread
  • Weaving in ends
