Here’s another take on the Crafty Curl balloon designs!

You will need to have an understanding of how to do the basic C2C pattern in hdc. A chart is included illustrating the balloon design, with 2 diagonal rows marked to indicate the first row color changes are complete and again to indicate when to begin the final decrease.

For this design, I used Materials used:
Size F hook
2 - Bernat Super Value, Sky (7 oz)
1 - Bernat Super Value Stripes, Candy Store Stripes, (5 oz)
small bit of brown/tan yarn for basket
Fleece
3/8” elastic, thread, buttons

This pattern recommends some very basic sewing, attaching elastic to the fleece to ease it against the crocheted work.
