Rainbow Basket Blanket pattern.

This pattern provides a soft but colourful blanket design. Perfect as a gift for a newborn / baby shower, or a beautiful decorative blanket or throw if made in a larger version.

It can be worked in any size, with any yarn, and any number of colours! It is also beginner friendly.

The pattern provides specific instructions to make a preemie / comfort blanket in size 21 x 21” / 53 x 53cm. This uses 8 colours of Emu Classic DK yarn, approximately 60g of each colour. A great project for leftover yarn.

The instructions explain how to make a larger blanket; the pattern is easily adaptable to any size and colour combination.

I used DK yarn and a 4.5mm hook but any weight yarn and hook size would work well.
