The rainbow bucket bag will brighten up every summer
adventure! Each rainbow motif is fun and quick to make.
It’s the perfect size for a trip to the beach, running errands,
or a daytime festival.

The bag sides are constructed of 30 rainbow motifs joined in
5 rounds checkerwise. The round bottom is worked directly
into a bottom trim, and ribbed top with openings for drawstring.
Tubular handle is reinforced with soft fabric stuffing.

Rainbow motifs are worked as Half Double Crochet arches of
two types: “full” rainbows joined to bottom trim in first round,
and “short” rainbows with angled edges ensuring smooth
motif connection in subsequent motif rounds.

Top, bottom, and handle are worked in spiral rounds without
turning unless otherwise noted.
Use stitch marker to indicate the completed round.
Rainbow motifs are worked in turned rows.
