Materials:
You will need yarn, 5.00 mm crochet hook, stitch marker, scissors, and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends!
Notes:
This is a one size fits most pattern. It fits both my 7-year-old daughter as well as myself. If you would like to adjust the size, you can go up or down a hook size. It’s a bucket hat so don’t stress. Just go with the flow! This is a beginner friendly pattern. It is made entirely by single crochet, but you must be familiar
with working in the flo and the blo! This hat is worked from top down. This hat is worked in continuous rounds so you will need a stitch maker for this pattern!
Let’s talk yarn!
I used about 200 yards of Red Heart Super Saver in the color Retro Stripes! Feel free to use any #4 weight yarn. Cotton yarn is great for summer! If you cannot get your hands on any Retro Stripes Yarn this hat would work up beautifully in variegated yarn!
Abbreviations:
-Ch: chain
-Sl st: slip stitch
-Sc: single crochet
-Inc: increase
-Flo: front loops only
-Blo: back loops only
