Rainbow Butterflies
Work up our pretty and vibrant insects!
The collective term for butterflies is a kaleidoscope and you can see why with Sachiyo Ishii’s lovely project! She has used half treble and double treble stitches to create the wings, which bear more than a passing resemblance to granny squares. These are then finished off with a body and antennae, worked with chain stitch. Use any combination of colours from your exclusive kit, or other yarns from your stash.
To get this pattern for yourself, grab a copy of Make It Today: Crochet Club issue 45, on sale from the 20th of June, 2019.
