Blanket and border are made using Overlay Mosaic Crochet Technique.
Middle part of the blanket is also worked right side facing you using treble, chain and double crochet stiches. At the end of each row the yarn is fastened off.

Pattern is written in English (UK Terms) and it also has step-by-step instructions with lots of pictures to guide you through all rows and how to make the envelop double boarder.

You will need DK yarn, 4mm hook, tapestry needle and scissors

You can use other weight yarn if you wish.
